Question 79916: Find the slope and the y-intercept.
y = 7x
Answer by markburke(3) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! y = m*x + b. This is the equation of the slope-intercept form of a line. It should be memorized. In the equation above, b is actually absent. This means it is zero. So we have the form of y = m * x + 0. We always only do what the problem asks us, which is to find the slope and the y intercept. b is the y intercept, and is zero. The slope is the m value of the line, or 7.
