and the perimeter of the room is 64ft.
2[L+W]=64-----equ:2
by substituting equ:1 in equ:2
2[7W+W]=64
7W+W=64/2
8W=32
W=32/8
W=4
by substituting W=4 in equ:1 we get
L=7*4
L=28
therefore the dimensions of the room are 28ft. and 4ft.
