1- Begin solving the equation for y. Subtract 10 from both sides.
3x+5y+10-10=0-10
3x+5y=-10


2- Subtract 3x from both sides.
3x-3x+5y=-10-3x
5y=-10-3x


3- Divide both sides by 5.
5y/5=(-10/5)-(3x/5)
y=-2-3/5x OR y=-0.6x-2
