You can put this solution on YOUR website! One half of a certain number added to one third of the next consecutive number is 22. Find the numbers
--------
(1/2)x + (1/3)(2x+1) = 22
--------------------
Multiply thru by 6:
3x + 2(2x+1) = 132
----
3x + 4x + 2 = 132
7x = 130
--------
x = 130/7 = 18.57
--------
x+1 = 19.57
