Assign Values of x and then substitute it to the equation to find y



Let x = -1                   x = 0                  x = 1

     5x + y = 5              5x + y = 5             5x + y = 5

  5(-1) + y = 5             5(0)+ y = 5            5(1)+ y = 5

      -5 + y = 5              0 + y = 5              5 + y = 5

          y = 5 + 5               y = 5                  y = 5 -5 

          y = 10                                         y = 0

You can locate the three points and draw a line passing the three points
