You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A train leaves Miami at 1:00 PM. A second train leaves the same city traveling in the same direction at 4:00 PM. The second train travels 33 mph faster than the first. If the second train overtakes the first at 8:00 PM, what is the speed of each of the two trains?

when they meet the distance traveled by both is same
d=rt
d first train = d second train
t= first train = 7 hours
speed first train = x mph
t second train = 4 hours
speed second train = (x+33) mph
4(x+33)=7x
4x+132=7x
7x-4x=132
3x=132
/3
x=44 mph
First train 44 mph
second train = 44+33= 77 mph
