Hockey ticket = x + 4.32
A couple purchased two hockey tickets and two basketball tickets for $153.92
$153.92 = 2*(x + 4.32) + 2*x
$153.92 = 2x + 8.64 + 2x
$153.92 = 4x + 8.64
$153.92 - $8.64 = 4x
4x = $145.28
x = $36.32
Basketball ticket costs $36.32
Hockey ticket costs $40.64.
