the base of a ladder is 3 feet away from the wall. The top of the ladder is 9 feet from the floor. Find the length of the ladder to the nearest thousandth. i get this as you can see i am in another place help please
a^2=9^2+3^2
a^2=81+9
a^2=90
a=sqrt90
a=3sqrt10
a=2sqrt5
but my choices are;
A 9.487 feet
B 7.355 feet
c 11.788 feet
D 8.466 feet
