y = 1/2x - 1
The x intercept occurs when y = 0
0 = 1/2x - 1
1/2x = 1
x = 2
The y intercept occurs when x = 0
y = 1/2(0)- 1
y = -1
x intercept = (2,0)
y intercept = (0, -1)
