You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/1.8 = 0.55555... (note: the 5's repeat forever)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1.8=9%2F5
The multiplicative inverse is 1%2F%28%289%2F5%29%29=1%285%2F9%29=5%2F9
There is no way to write that as an exact decimal.

If you are trying to convert degrees Farenheit to Celsius, you can easily use the fraction.
The scales meet at -40%5Eo and you can use other reference points like the freezing point of water, which is 32%5EoF anf 0%5EoC

If yout temperature is 104%5EoF, that is
104%5EoF-32%5EoF=72%5EoF above freezing
To get to degrees Celsius multiply times 5%2F9 which means multiply times 5 and divide by 9, or divide by 9 first and then multiply times 5.
Either way 72%2A%285%2F9%29=40, so 104%5EoF=40%5EoC
