You can put this solution on YOUR website! R* (1/2 - 1/3) = R * 1/12
R will be reduced so you cannot calculate its value. In other words, R can have any value.
The funny thing is that the equation is not even equal...1/2 - 1/3 = 1/6, 1/6 is not equal to 1/12.
If the first R was in denominator, it would have a value:
1/2R - R/3 =R/12
1/2R - R/3 + R/3 = R/12 + R/3
1/2R = R/12 + R/3
1/2R = R/12 + 4R/12
1/2R = 5R/12
1/2R * 2R = 5R/12 * 2R
1 = 10R^2/12
1 * 12 = 10R^2/12 *12
12 = 10R^2
12/10 = 10R^2/10
R^2 = 12/10 = 6/5
R = + √6/5, or R = -√6/5
