You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(2c + d)(2c – d)
1-Use the FOIL method to solve. I'll assign each term a capital letter.
W X Y Z
(2c + d)(2c - d)
2-Multiply first terms W and Y. 2c x 2c = 4c^2
3-Multiply outer terms W and Z. 2c x -1d = -2cd
4-Multiply inner terms X and Y. d x 2c = 2cd
5-Multiply last terms X and Z. d x -d = -d^2
6-Lastly, combine your terms together.
4c^2 - 2cd + 2cd - d^2
7-Your solution should by 4c^2-d^2
