You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Two ways:

1. By graphing and using Area = 1%2F2base×height

The base is 8 units long, the height is 3 units long:

Area = 1%2F2base×height 1%2F28×3 = 12 square units.

2. By determinant (which you probably haven't studied)

Area%22%22=%22%22%22%22=%22%22expr%281%2F2%29%2Aabs%2824%29%22%22=%22%2212
