You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Production costs are how much it costs to produce the flag
That is a set up cost of $200 for each design
We do not know how many designs, so let it be a variable D
There is a manufacturing cost of $12 for each flag
We do not know how many flags, so let it be a variable F
It looks to me like the production cost is then 200 D + 12 F
If you want to be completely honest and truthful you put in the amount sold!
It would -$20 when they sell a flag. Because if you sell a flag
and get $20 it is the OPPOSITE of being sold a flag and paying
$20. Let that be -$20 * S if you want
The holistic answer is 200D + 12 F - 20 S but I doubt that is the answer that your teacher is looking for. He probably does not want the sales amount to be thrown in with the production cost amount. I am just putting this in to be instructive. Hope this helps!
