Question 787705: Hey Again,
Sorry to have to bother you but i am stuck on a question for my Maths investigation.
Could you please help me?
The question is...
"Using the volume formula make h the subject for the cylinder and H the subject for the prism."
The volume for them both is the same and is 1000cm^3 ...
Thanks soooo Much!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Using the volume formula make h the subject for the cylinder and H the subject for the prism.
-------
Cylinder: V = (base area)*(height)
h = Volume/(pi*r^2)
-------
Prism: V = (base area)*height
h = Volume/[L*W]
