You can put this solution on YOUR website! In the election for the president of the senior assembly, 3/5 of the seniors voted for Alfredo, 3/10 for albert and 81 for alvin.
-------
Let the total # of seniors be "x":
[(3/5) + (3/10)]x = (9/10)x
-----
So, (1/10)x = 81
x = 810 (# of seniors)
-----
Alfredo votes: (3/5)810 = 3*162 = 300+180+6 = 486
Albert votes: (3/10)810 = 3*81 = 240+3 = 243
Alvin votes: 81
---
Cheers,
