You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(6-x)/(x+2)>1
(6-x)/(x+2) - 1 > 0
((6-x)-(x+2))/(x+2)>0
(6-x-x-2)/(x+2)>0
(-2x+4)/(x+2)>0
-2x+4=0 when x=2
x+2=0 when x=-2
In the interval lower than x=-2 (6-x)/(x+2)<0
In the interval between x=-2 and x=2 (6-x)/(x+2)>0
In the interval above x=2 (6-x)/(x+2)<0
So (-2, 2] The denominator cannot be -2 because division by zero is not allowed.
