Let x= one complementary
And x+4=the other
x+x+4=90 subtract 4 from both sides
x+x+4-4=90-4 collect like terms
2x=86 divide both sides by 2
x=43 degrees------------------------------one angle
x+4=43+4=47 degrees-----------------------------the other angle

43+47=90
90=90
also
47 is 4 more than 43
