I guess you have this:
h%28x%29+=-+2x%5E4+-+x%5E3+%2B2x%5E2+-4x+-+3 solve for h%283%29=> this means use x=3 and substitute it in given equation
h%283%29=+-+2%2A3%5E4+-+3%5E3+%2B2%2A3%5E2+-4%2A3+-+3
h%283%29=+-+2%2A81+-+27+%2B2%2A9+-12+-+3
h%283%29=+-+162+-+27+%2B18+-12+-+3
h%283%29=+-+204+%2B18+
h%283%29=+-+186+
but, in case you put minus instead of equal sign and you have this
