You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let her travel by bus x miles
bus rate = 50 mph
she travels by train 860-x miles
Train rate = 105 mph
Time by train + time by bus = 9.5
t=d/r
%28860-x%29%2F105+%2B%28x%2F50%29+=9.5
lcm of 50 &105 is 5250
multiply equation by 5250
50(860-x)+105x=5250 *9.5
43000-50x+105x=5250*9.5
55x=(5250*9.5)-43000
x= 125 miles by bus
860-125=735 miles by train
time on train = 735/105 = 7 hours
