You can put this solution on YOUR website!
shortest piece = x
longest piece = 2x
other piece = x + 5

x + 2x + (x + 5) = 49
4x + 5 = 49
4x = 44
x = 11

The lengths of the pieces are 11 cm, 22 cm, and 16 cm.
