You can put this solution on YOUR website! First we must translate this correctly:

sum of q less than 4 means, -q+4. The phrasing strikes me as incomplete.
product of 6 and sum...., means 6(-q+4).
The right-hand member description has a mistakenly included article, "a". The description should mean, |24-6q|.
The entire description seems at best to be 6(4-q)=|24-6q|, but what you gave as the problem description in your posting is likely broken. Notice that if you apply distributive property to the left member, you get something apparantly equal to the right hand member. Are you actually trying to identify the applicable property to be DISTRIBUTIVE PROPERTY?
