By Pythagorean theorem,the length of the other sideis:
= sqrt[hyp^2 - side^2]
= sqrt[24^2 - 12^2]
= sqrt(576 - 144)
= sqrt(432)
= 20.8
Thus the length of the other leg = 20.8 meters
