You can put this solution on YOUR website!
length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle is 24 meters
length of one of its legs is 12 meters
By Pythagorean theorem, the length of the other sideis:
= sqrt[hyp^2 - side^2]
= sqrt[24^2 - 12^2]
= sqrt(576 - 144)
= sqrt(432)
= 20.8
Thus the length of the other leg = 20.8 meters

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Length of the hypotenuse is 24m
Length of one of the hpotenuse is 12 m
length of the other side is?
By applying pythagores theorem we have
other side = sqr root of( 24 square-12 square)
= sqr root of (576- 144)
= sqr root of (432)
= 20.78
