Let's look at " 4(h+3)" first:
1)Multiply (4)(h) then multiply (4)(3)
2)add the two: 4h+12
3)put it back into the equation
4)26+4h%2B12 <--add 26+12=38
5)4h+38 or 2(2h+19)



8(j-4)+17
Look at 8%28j-4%29first:
1)multiply (8)(j) and (8)(-4)
2)add the two: 8j+(-32)=8j-32
3)put it back into the equation
4)8j-32%29+17 <-- add -32+17=-15
5)8j-15
