You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A bus driver travelling at a constant velocity of 85 km/h toward the east looks at his watch and sees that is 08:00 am. At this time, he is 135 km west of his destination. Determine the driver's location at 9:30 AM.
Thank you!
Time traveled from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM = 1.5 hrs
In 1.5 hours, and at 85 km/h, he has covered 1.5 * 85, or 127.5 km
Since at 8:00 AM he was 135 km west of his destination, and he traveled 127.5 km after, then at 9:30 AM, he’s (135 – 127.5) km away from his destination.
You can do the check!!
