Question 779763: Solve the equation: (x/x-3)+(3/x+3)=6x/x^2-9 I kind of had an idea of how to approach this problem by the lowest common denominator but the right side threw me off. If you could help that would be awesome

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x/x-3)+(3/x+3)=6x/x^2-9
Lowest common denominator = x^2-9
This is because x^2-9 = (x + 3)(x - 3)
x(x + 3) + 3(x - 3) = 6x
x^2 + 3x + 3x - 9 = 6x
Collect like terms.
x^2 + 3x + 3x - 6x - 9 = 0
x^2 - 9/x^2 - 9
= 1
Hope this helps.
