Question 779287: What is the greater of two consecutive even integers that is four less than three times the smaller integer? Found 2 solutions by oscargut, MathTherapy:Answer by oscargut(2103) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Let the consecutive even integers n (smallest) and n+2 (greatest)
n+2 = 3n - 4
2n = 6
n = 3
So the integers are 3 and 5, but they must be even
Can you check the question ?

There are consecutive even integers where the larger is four less than three times the smaller integer. There are 2 CONSECUTIVE ODD INTEGERS though.
