Question 778879: Hi, I just needed to know how to put the below equation together for this problem.
In triangle ABC, the angle C is six times as large as angle A. The measure of angle B is 60 greater than that of angle A. Find the measure of the angles.
Below is what I got out of reading the above question.
C= 6x
B= 60+x
A= x
How do I put this together into an equation? Would it be
6x = x (60+x)
Thank you so much! I have such a hard time with word problems.

-------------
Equation:
6x + 60+x + x = 180 degrees
8x = 120
x = 15
------
A = 15 degrees
B = 75 degrees
C = 90 degrees

The measures of the angles of a triangle sum to 180%5Eo, so 6x+%2B+60+%2B+x+%2B+x+=+180. Solve this to find:
x, or A: the smallest angle

60 + x, or B: the middle angle

6x, or C: the largest angle.
