Johnny bought a $30 ticket book for a local amusement park. Each ride at the park cost $1.50. What is the independent and dependent variables. Also write a function that represents the remaining dollar amount D(r) left after each ride.
I tried to figure out what the independent and dependent variables were but I still don't understand those concepts and in writing a function, I came up with D(r)= 1.50r-30 but I'm not confident with my answer. Can you please help and give me a good explanation? Thanks!
