Eliminate y
multiply (1)by 0.25
Multiply (2) by -1.00
0.25 x 0.25 y = 192.50
-0.50 x -0.25 y = -228.00
Add the two equations
-0.25 x = -35.50
/ -0.25
x = 142.00
plug value of x in (1)
1.00 x + 1.00 y = 770.00
142.00 + y = 770.00
y = 770.00 -142.00
y = 628.00
y = 628.00
