You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1.The average of the numbers 5,9,10,13 and a equals 11. Find the value of a.
(5+9+!0+13+a)/5=11
(37+a)=55
a=55-37=18
-----------------------

2. Express the following in the form a+bi, where a and b are real numbers
(3+i)/(1+2i)
Multiply numerator and denominator by (1-2i) to get:
[(3+i)(1-2i)]/5
= (3+i-6i+2)/5
=(5-5i)/5
=1-i
