You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2|4-n| = -3n
divide both sides by 2 to get:
|4-n| = (-3/2)n
-----
The expression inside the absolute symbols must be -(3/2)x or +(3/2)n
------
4-n = -(3/2)n or 4-n = (3/2)n
Add (3/2)n to both sides or Add n to both sides to get:::
================================================
(1/2)n = -4 or (5/2)n = 4
Solve each for "n" to get::::
------------------------
n = -8 or n = 8/5
-------
n = -8/5 is an extraneous solution.
