You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Coordinates of the mid point of the line segment formed by joining the points (0,3) and (-4,5) is (%280-4%29%2F2,%283%2B5%29%2F2) i.e. (-2,4)
Also, the slope of the line joining (0,3) and (-4,5) is %285-3%29%2F%28-4-0%29=-1%2F2
Therefore the slope of the perpendicular is 2 and it passes through the point (-2,4).
Therefore its equation is:
y+-+4+=+2%28x+%2B+2%29
y+=+2x+%2B+8
