14-2z=16 or 14-2z=-16

cross%2814-14%29-2z=16-14 or cross%2814-14%29-2z=-16-14 Subtract 14 from both sides

cross%28-2%2F-2%29z=2%2F-2 or cross%28-2%2F-2%29z=-30%2F-2 Divide both sides by -2
So we have the solutions of

z=-1 or z=15
