You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the x- and y- intercepts of the line 6y-3x+5=0
===================================================================
standard form for a line is y = mx +b
=====================================================================
6y-3x+5=0
6y = 3x -5
y = (1/2)x -(5/6)
============================================
y intercept is -(5/6), and the point is (0, -5/6)
x intercept is 5/3, and the point is (5/3, 0)

no you don't foil it
you plug in x=0 and solve for y and then plug in y=0 and solve for x, so
if x=0 then 6y+5=0
6y=-5
y=-5/6
(0,-5/6) this is your y intercept
if y=0 then -3x+5=0
-3x=-5
x=5/3
(5/3,0) this is your x intercept
