37c stamps = y
x + y = 100...1
24x + 37y = 3102...2
Multiply (1) by 37
37x + 37y = 3700...3
24x + 37y = 3102...2
Subtract (2) from (3)
13x = 598
x = 46
Substitute x = 46 in (1)
x + y = 100
46 + y = 100
y = 100 - 46
y = 54
There are 46x24c and 54x37c stamps
