Question 775183: write the expression as a single real number. Do not use decimal approximations
sin(pie/6)cos(pie/2)-cos(pie/60)sin(pie/2) Answer by lwsshak3(11628) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! write the expression as a single real number. Do not use decimal approximations
sin(pie/6)cos(pie/2)-cos(pie/60)sin(pie/2)
I believe you meant pi/6 instead of pi/60 for the 3rd term
use sin addition formula: sin(s-t)=sin s cos t-cos s sin t
sin(pie/6)cos(pie/2)-cos(pie/6)sin(pie/2)=sin(π/6-π/2)=sin(π/6-3π/6)=sin(-π/3)=-√3/2
