You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3X-2Y=0
-2Y=-3X
Y=-3X/-2
Y=1.5X
THIS EQUATION REPRESENTS A LINE WITH A SLOPE(m) OF 1.5 & A Y INTERCEPT OF 0. THEREFORE THREE POINTS CAN BE DEFINED AS (0,0) & GRAPHING THIS LINE WE CAN FIND AT LEAST 2 MORE POINTS LIKE SETTING Y=6 WE GET
6=1.5X
X-6/1.5
X=-4 OR (-4,-6) NOW SET X=2 & WE GET
Y=1.5*2
Y=3 OR (2,3)
SO WE HAVE THREE POINTS (0,0), (-4,-6), (2,3)
AND THE GRAPH OF THIS LINE IS:
+graph%28+300%2C+200%2C+-6%2C+5%2C+-10%2C+10%2C+y+=+1.5x%29+ (graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, y = 1.5x).
