You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
IF YOU MEAN 3/(X-1)=6/(X+2) THEN CROSS MULTIPLYING WE GET:
3(X+2)=6(X-1)
3X+6=6X-6
3X-6X=-6-6
-3X=-12
X=-12/-3
X=4 ANSWER.
PROOF
3/(4-1)=6/(4+2)
3/3=6/6
1=1
