4x-y =100 and 0.05x-o.06y=-32 using the substitution
rearrange the 1st equation
4x - y = 100
-y = -4x + 100
multiply
y = 4x - 100
:
.05x - .06y = -32
multiply by 100 to get rid of those annoying decimals
5x - 6y = -3200
substitute (4x-100) for y
5x - 6(4x-100) = -3200
5x - 24x + 600 = -3200
-19x = -3200 - 600
-19x = -3800
x = -3800/-19
x = +200

Find y
y = 4x - 100
y = 4(200) - 100
y = 700
