then
(180-A) = the supplement
and
(90-A) = the complement

The equation:
4(180-A) + 8(90-A) = 3(180)
720 - 4A + 720 - 8A = 540
1440 - 12A = 540
1440 - 540 = 12A

A = 900/12
A = 75 degrees
