Question 773923: The sum of two integers is 63. if one of the integers is three more than twice the other, what are the two integers? Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! x + y = 63
x and y = 3 + 2x
x + 3 + 2x = 63
3x + 3 = 63
3x = 63 - 3
3x = 60
x = 20
First integer = 20
Second integer = 43
Hope this helps.
