You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Volume of box = length*breadth*height
Volume of box = 60*30*15
Volume of box = 27000cm^3
With one layer of cans laid 3 X 6 = 18
Breadth/3 = 30/3 = 10cm
Length/6 = 60/6 = 10cm
So cans have a diameter of 10cm
and a radius of 5cm.
....................
Volume of cylinder = Pi*r^2*h
Volume of cylinder = Pi*5^2*15
Volume of cylinder = 1178.1cm^3
18 * 1178.1cm
= 21205.8cm^3 (Occupied by cans)
Vol. of box - Vol of 18 cans.
27000 - 21205.8 = 5794.3 (Vol left free)
Hope this helps.
