If the point P(3,-1) is on the graph of f%28x%29, to find the corresponding point on the graph of y=2f%28x%29%2B4 just plug in 3 for x into y+=+2f%28x%29+%2B+4
y+=+2f%283%29+%2B+4
y+=+2%28-1%29+%2B+4
y+=+2
The corresponding point is (3,2).
