You can put this solution on YOUR website!
can you please help me verify the identity of:
3cos^2x-4cosx+1/(sinx) = secx-3/(secx+1)
Sorry, I could not solve this problem.
..
and solve for x:
a)
4sin^2x = 3
sin^2x=3/4
sinx=±√3/2
x=π/3, 2π/3, 4π/3, 5π/3
.
b) sinx + cosx = 1
sinx+√(1-sin^2x)=1
√(1-sin^2x)=1-sinx
square both sides
1-sin^2x=1-2sinx+sin^2x
2sin^2x-2sinx=0
2sinx(sinx-1)
..
2sinx=0
x=0
..
sinx-1=0
sinx=1
x=π/2
