That is not the same as
1/(x+1)-1/(x-2) = 1%2F%28x%2B1%29-1%2F%28x-2%29
For 1%2F%28x%2B1%29-1%2F%28x-2%29 we need to use the common denominator %28x%2B1%29%2A%28x-2%29=x%5E2-x-2
