find the value of 1/{1+1/{1+1/(1+1/2)}}
Starting with the most inner bracket
(1 + 1/2) = 3/2
Next bracket
{1+1/(1+1/2)
This becomes
(1 + 1/(3/2)
(1 + 2/3)
= 5/3
Next bracket
{1+1/{1+1/(1+1/2)}}
Which becomes
{1 + 1/(5/3)}
{1 + 3/5}
= 8/5
Last bracket
1/{1+1/{1+1/(1+1/2)}}
Which becomes:
1/8/5
= 5/8
