Q:
If 67-2x is divide by the integer x, the final quotient is 14 and the remainder is 3. Find x.

A:
%2867+-+2x%29%2Fx+=+14+%2B+3%2Fx, multiply both sides by x.
67 - 2x = 14x + 3
-2x - 14x = 3 - 67
-16x = -64

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Dividend = Quotient * Divisor + Remainder
Here Dividend = 67 - 2x
Divisor = x
Quotient = 14
Remainder = 3
So 67 - 2x = 14x + 3
or 14x + 2x = 67 - 3
or 16x = 64
or x = 4.
check: Dividend = 67 -2x = 67 - 2 * 4 = 67 - 8 = 59
59/4 = 14(quotient) with remainder 3
