"The measure of one angle of a triangle is twice the measure of another, and the third angle is 1/3 of the sum of the measures of the other 2. Find the measures of all three angles. Answer by ramkikk66(644) (Show Source):
The measure of one angle of a triangle is twice the measure of another, and the third angle is 1/3 of the sum of the measures of the other 2. Find the measures of all three angles.
Ans:
Let the first angle be x
Then the second angle is x/2
Third angle = 1/3 the sum of the other 2 = 1/3*(x + x/2) = 1/3 * (3*x/2) = x/2
We know that the sum of the 3 angles in a triangle is 180
So
So one angle is 90
The second is 90/2 = 45
Third = (90+45)/3 = 45
Hope you got it :)
