Find the solution of the exponential equation, correct to four 
decimal places.

e%5E%28-4x%29=6

Learn the principle that e%5EA=B can be rewritten as A=ln%28B%29

Then rewrite e%5E%28-4x%29=6 as -4x=ln%286%29

Then get the calculator and find ln%286%29=1.791759469

Then -4x=ln%286%29 becomes

     -4x=1.791759469

Divide both sides by -4

     -4x%2F%28-4%29=1.791759469%2F%28-4%29

      x+=+-.4479398673

Rounded off correct to four decimal places:

      x+=+-.4479
